Is this book really large print?

Yes. We quote 26 point as the font size. In practice, the word lists are set at 30 point and the letters in the grids are larger still, so you are getting a little more than advertised.

Do I need to start with Volume 01?

No. Each volume works on its own and contains a different mix of topics. You can start with any volume or collect the full Blue Collection.

No puzzle is repeated anywhere in the series, so volumes never overlap.

Can I try the print size before buying?

Yes. You can download free test pages and print them at actual size to check whether the type size works for you.

What kinds of topics are included?

Volume 05 includes topics such as Royalty, Burgers, Antarctica, Horse Care, Honeybees, NASA Vocabulary, Film Villains, The Taming of the Shrew, The Bill of Rights, Pirate Vocabulary, Oscar Awards, and Olympic Sports, plus word-pattern puzzles such as Anagrams and Words with Silent Letters.

Are these easy puzzles?

No. The grids are mostly dense and the word lists are specific — these are built for a real solve rather than a quick one. If you prefer short word lists, easy finds, and random vocabulary, these are not the right books.

Why do some puzzles have more words than others?

Word length influences puzzle complexity. Big print means a smaller grid, and long words take up most of a line, leave very few positions free, and rarely line up with anything else. Fill a grid with long words, and it ends up sparse and parallel instead of interlocking. Meanwhile, short and medium words tend to weave together tightly. It is also why some topics never appear: dinosaur names run long, and at this print size no grid holds enough of them to make a good puzzle.
